Why Do I Need to Spend My Hard Earned Money on Search Engine Optimization?
If you still use the excuse that the economy is responsible for your business slowing down then your probably using business practices that are outdated or services that just take your money and give nothing in return.
Having a Digital Presents nowadays is a must! For the first time in decades the way your business is found has changed, people don’t look for you in the phone book anymore, they are looking for you and what your offering on the Internet and their smart phones.
Believe it or not, some of those people are searching for what your offering and if your not showing up for their searches then your losing customers and money. Many people still don’t understand this and think that just putting up a good looking website in the hopes of riches is enough and well, that really doesn’t happen.
When you took the 1st step and put your website up you did that since you wanted to make money from it. That didn’t happen because you either didn’t know or it was so long ago that it didn’t matter that just having a good looking website wasn’t enough. If you haven’t optimized your website it’s as hard to find as a certain drop of water in the ocean. Nobody knows how to get to your website unless you tell them the name of the site.
There are things you need to do behind the pages of your site (the changes are mostly unseen and that is why it’s so hard to comprehend why you need them) and off your website that can help you achieve your original dream of making money from your site. It’s the 2nd step in a process and unless you optimize your site your helping your competitors to put you out of business.
It’s important to get an expert at this point since this will be the foundation of your website digitally for whatever follows. You don’t need a website designer what you need is someone who specializes in search engine optimization. These people know different techniques and strategies the search engines require for you to show up in local search results for what your offering. If you ask your web designer they’ll tell you they can do it but they’ll just outsource it to a search engine optimization expert and it’ll cost you more, better to go direct.
You may not see what they do but you’ll see their results in more people seeing your site, more people seeing what you have to offer. If business is a matter of numbers doesn’t it make sense to get an expert to optimize your site and show up when people are searching locally for what your offreing .
